jeanniel1commented onopengreenenergy'sinstructableNOCTURNAL SOLAR LIGHT BULB V2.0
I love how you made the reflector part! Now I'll just have to test it and give it a go! Great project. I love holistic battery designs

jeanniel1commented onrog8811'sinstructableLarge Bluebell Teaching Aid
成为一名植物学家和hortic /景观设计师ultural emphasis, I absolutely love how you’ve made sure to have all parts - down to the seed pattern! - in correct detail (other than bluebells not being single stemmed). Bravo. Few are observant enough or detail-oriented to put something like this together. Do you work for The Exploratorium or a science museum? Your talent is needed!

jeanniel1commented onrschoenm'sinstructableMaking Thin Wood Boards for Laser Cutting
This is great as I want to make jigsaw puzzle pieces with solid wood - or laminated solid wood, and don't want to depend on the thin ply from the lumber yards. Most seem to have inner cores that burn more than get cut by the laser. I read that Liberty Jigsaw Company has special hardwood plys made for them so they can have solid pieces.

jeanniel1commented onRyanMake'sinstructableAir Umbrella 2.0 DIY! a Second Wind!
It seems there needs to be something that blows the water powerfully from a top of a sphere perspective. Like a colander or sieve? Just thinking out loud.

jeanniel1commented onNEW PEW'sinstructableApple Puzzle
Not like how your apple came out - plus, I think the laser would end up cooking the apple along the lines - which would make them mushy and then not fit very well. The laser won't cut quite so deeply as your method. It'd be fun to try - but certainly NOT to eat the apple afterwards! LOL!

jeanniel1commented onblimblarp'sinstructableScan and 3D Print Your Own Useful Tessellated Objects (CAD-free!)
Wow, what a Remix!!! I'm going to have to try this and post what I scan and print. Soooo cool.

I, too, looked over several pizza oven Youtubes and DIY sites - your's is the most clear and made it seem easier than the others. LOVE the bottles as filler!!!

jeanniel1commented onRehaan33'sinstructablePlastic Brick Compressor
Good thinking on the concept and for the WHOLE world, third or otherwise. The first world needs it as much as any other. I visited Pakistan in the rural regions and it was astounding how much plastic could be found EVERYWHERE! The animals were eating it, and remnants were plowed into fields. To remove all this debris would make everywhere much healthier. Don't take offense when it is created to make the world a better place. The emphasis there is on the wrong intention.

How clever using string to get the shape! Is there a way to get the dough to be taller?

jeanniel1commented onbanjogates'sinstructableDRILL-POWERED SPRAYPAINT CAN SHAKER
I wonder if you can make a pivot in the middle part of the can that would allow the can to whirl around and up and down allowing the bearing inside to traverse from tip to bottom. It has potential - your project caught my eye and got my vote.

jeanniel1commented onMrErdreich'sinstructableAge Old Pumpkin Bread
Ha ha - the title confused me a bit - is this a really OLD bread or OLD pumpkin? Or OLD recipe? Anyway, it looks marvelous and I'll have to give it a try!

jeanniel1commented onMomos75'sinstructableLaminated Potato Chips
How amusing and another way potatoes are fun to play with! I was worried at first that you were really laminating potato chips - as that would taste disgusting!

I've done that, too, for when we work on ceramics on the wheel. A diagonal does make a smoother surface versus the 90 degree blade.

jeanniel1commented onLTDWoodworks'sinstructableNo Hole Circle Cutting Jig

-
jeanniel1commented onIgorM92'sinstructableSelf Watering Pot Plate
So a large tray holding all the plants and one reservoir to fill up from one bottle (large), right? That'd be the easiest way to do it. Put the reservoir in the middle!

Perfect! I didn't realize how much GRAVEL and rocks are under my soil in my front and back yards! No gold nuggets yet.
