Yep, just screwed in the middle.
If you look at a picture in step nine you can see how I have some boards mounted on the back of it so that I got a fairly level mount against the tree. Then I sunk some long screws through the back and into the tree. Lag bolts would work well, but a few long deck screws would probably be fine. You’re not going to be jumping up and down on the thing n
Just regular pine. Give it a couple of coats of good outdoor paint and it’ll last a long time. You can do the inside too for extra protection.
Sure. I just used the high alcohol stuff so that I could end up with a 35 to 40% final product.
I think my dad had a DIY spindle molder. Didn't use it much because it scared him. They just need good support to keep the wood in place and stop kickback.
Mine is a direct drive, not belt driven, but it's a hell of a motor. I don't mind the original fence, but I'd like it to at least be a cam clamp type. I could probably rig that up with a little effort. I saw that some models had a micro adjust on the fence. That could be useful.I do like this cutter. I think it'll be easier to use the tongue and groove and glue joint bits than on my router.
I have that old booklet. It made me curious to try tracking down one of the dado blades that work on circular saws. That could be very handy.

Both boards have wheels and hinges. As you push down the lever (foot switch) the wheels lift up the saw. The lever presses down the board that its not attached to lift that side.

You're the second person to ask. Maybe I'll whip up a new instructable in the next few days.
不是,2 to 2.5" shopvac hose. I don't think I have any kind of blade that would make pieces big enough to clog it. The only issue might be small cut off end pieces falling in by the blade. A zero clearance insert would stop that though.

It is. It'll be even better on a real smoker. Even better is to cure your own using a fatty chuck roast.

Fine as long as you kept it some place dry. And didn't drop it and destroy it.
These particular speakers have a screw hole mount in the back of them. Screw a screw partly into the wall, leaving a 1/4" or so out, then hang the speaker on it. Other speakers may have a 1/4"x20 bolt hole you can screw into. If all else fails . . . open the speaker and see what's inside, then screw into it where you won't damage anything.
